Bruhat Bangalore MOSQUITO Problem

The BBMP has a handful of problems on its hands and i would like them to make the Mosquito menace the top priority. The M in the acronym very rightly suits and mosquito eradication or little lesser to eradication should be done by the corporation. There seems to be no attention that anyone in the health department is paying towards this musical creature that pesters people child or adult alike. With so many infections and diseases that mosquitoes can bring, i think its time some clean-up and spraying, smoking etc is done on the streets and open areas of Bangalore

On Sunday last, i was at a shop beside the Ring Rd near Ramamurthy nagar underpass, and these tiny winged creatures literally chased us out of there. They were all around flying, biting and even teasing us literally. Fans, hands, jumping around like jacks … none of these could keep our great musicians at bay.

Kerala was lately struck with Chikangunya and its only good for us in Bangalore to be left out of this painful disease that comes with the mosquito bites. A painful disease that has only Paracetamol as a remedy when this medicine can cause man problems to his liver !

Well.. our civic sense also needs some tidying up i reckon. While the Corporator’s take their charge can the BBMP do something about the BBMP !
